Who was Chandra Gupta II?
the 3rd emperor of the Gupta Empire. The son of Chandra Gupta I. He had a war-like side and expanded the empire during 40 years of conquest. During his conquests, he defeated the Shakas - enemies to the west - and added their coastal territory to his empire
