- Precipitation
- Water that falls to the earth from the air

- A device for measuring wind direction
- Hygrometer
- An instrument for measuring the humidity in the air

- Instrument used to measure air temperature
- Air Pressure
- The pressure or weight of the air over a given point
- Stratus
- Low level layered clouds--usually associated with rain
- Cirrus
- High, feathery clouds made up of ice crystals
- Front
- The line along which two different air masses meet
- Rain Gauge
- A device for measuring rainfall amounts

- A front where warm air replaces cold air
- Hurricane
- A severe tropical storm with circulating wind speeds above 74 MPH
