- Requires employers with 100 or more employees to probide 60 days notice before a facility closing or mass layoff

- Permits employees in organizations with 50 or more workers to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave each year for familty or medical resaons

- Allows portability of employees health insurance from one employer to another.
