- The bending of waves as it passes through a material.
- What is the Greenhouse Effect?
- The process which allows short wave radiation (visible light) to pass through the atmosphere, but greenhouse gases (methane, CFC's, water vapor, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oixide) traps long wave radiation (infrared ) in the atmosphere .
