- Molar Heat of COndensation
- the amount of heat released by one mole of a vapor as it condenses to a liquid at constant temperature
- Molar heat of fusion
- the maount of heat absorbed by one mole of a solid substance as it melts to a liquid at a constant temperature
- Molar heat of solidfication
- the amount of heat lost by one mole of liquid as it solidifies at a constant temperature
- Molar head of solution
- the enthalpy change caused by the dissolution of a liquid as it solidfies at a constant temperature
- specific heat
- the amount of heat needed to increase the temperature of 1g of a substance 1degreesC; also called specific heat capacity
- specific heat of formation
- the charge in enthalpy that accompanies the formation of one mole of a compound from its elements with all substances in their standard states 25degreesC
