Short lines drawn above or below the staff for notes too high or too low to appear on the staff. - Ledger Lines

Sign used to raise the pitch of a note one half step. - Sharp

Sign used to lower the pitch of a note one half step. - Flat

Sign used to cancel a sharp or flat. - Natural

A curved line connecting to notes of the same pitch. The second note is not to be played, but its value is added to that of the first. - Tie
