Addition - An operation that tells how many in all when you put together 2 or more numbers.

Zero Property of Addition - When 1 or 2 addends is zero, the sum is the same as the other addend.

Fact Family - A group of related facts using the same numbers.

Commutative Property - Means that when adding or multiplying, the order of the numbers does not affect the result.

subtraction - An operation on two numbers that tells how many are left when some are taken away. It is also used to compare 2 numbers.

Difference -
The result of subtracting one number from another.
Example: 7-2=5

Associative Property - Means that when adding or multiplying, the grouping of the numbers does not affect the result.
