- George Washington
- General who led troops against the British in the Revolutionary War; our country's first president; he is on the $1 dollar bill
- Andrew Jackson
- Born in South Carolina, but made Tennessee his home; his nickname was "Old Hickory"; his wife, Rachel, was the daughter of one of Nashville's founders; was President during the "Trail of Tears" which forced the Cherokee Indians off their land; his is on the $20 dollar bill
- George Herbert Walker Bush
- Born in Massachusetts, but mostly raised in Texas; WWII carrier pilot who was shot down and rescued by submarines; the father of our only father-son Presidents; was president during Dessert Storm; his VP was Dan Quayle

- From Ohio; cousin of another president; graduated in the middle of his class at West Point; returned to the Army to lead the Union troops to victory during the Civil War; is on the $50 dollar bill

- Gave a famous speech called the "Gettysburg Address" during the Civil War; issued the Emancipation Proclamation which freed slaves; was assassinated in a theater; he is on the penny
- Thomas Jefferson
- Home in Virginia is called Monticello; at 33 years old wrote the "Declaration of Independence" in 17 days; is on the $2 dollar bill and the nickel

- A Tennessee president, home in Columbia; known as the "Great Expansionist" by buying land from Spain, making our nation reach from coast to coast (after fighting for three years); "Hail to the Chief" started being usde as the presidential song

- Was a New York republican and police commissioner of NYC before becoming president; the leader of the Rough Riders during the Spanish-American War; great conservationist who established over 150 national parks, forests, and monuments; died of a blood clot in his lungs

- Ended the draft and stopped US participation in Vietnam; during his term Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon; resigned as a result of the Watergate scandal

- The only 4 term president; had polio, which made him use a wheelchair; president during the Great Depression when the economy was really bad; known for his "fireside chats", when people would listen to him on the radio; he is on the dime

- Was an Army Captain, Hollywood actor and Governor of California before becoming president; Berlin Wall separating Germany was torn down; appointed the first woman to the Supreme Court
- James Madison
- A Virginia president; "The Father of our Constitution"; "The Star Spangled Banner" was written during his term; his wife, Dolley, loved to throw parties and serve ice-cream
- Dwight D. Eisenhower
- Army five star general and commanded Allied Forces in WWII; nicknamed Ike; Camp David is named for his grandson; NASA was established during his term

- Virginia president who died on the 4th of July; fought in the Revolutionary War with Washington; was friends and studied with Jefferson; had a foreign policy that restricted other countries establishing future colonies; responsible for the Louisiana Purchase from France

- Became President when FDR died; won the closest re-election in history, defeating Dewey; dropped the atomic bomb on Japan; practiced piano from 5am-7am daily as a boy
