- discrete data
- Numerical data values that can be COUNTED

- Y- axis
- The vertical line on the bottom of a Quadrant 1 graph
- independent variable
- (statistics) a variable whose values are independent of changes in the values of other variables
- Coordinate pair
- a pair of numbers used to plot data. Always in perentaces with a comma. x axis first and y axis second
- Relationship
- the ways that two things are similar, differnt or otherwise connected
- Dependent variable
- (statistics) a variable in a logical or mathematical expression whose value depends in the independent variable
- Rule
- be larger in number, quantity, power, status or importance
- Scale
- pattern, make, regulate, set, measure, or estimate according to some rate or standard
- X axis
- The horizontal line on the bottom of a Quadrant 1 graph
- Coordinate graph
- a grid of vetical and horizontal lines that show the relationship between two variables
- Variable
- a symbol (like x or y) that is used in mathematical or logical expressions to represent a variable quantity
