- pseudodementia
- Symptoms of depression that mimic those of dementia.
- vascular dementia
- In this disorder, the clinical syndrome of dementia is due to significant cerebrovascular disease.

- Muscular incoordination.

- Global impairment of cognitive functioning that is progressive and interferes with social and occupational abilities.
- delirium
- A state of mental confusion and excitement characterized by disorientation for time and place, often with hallucinations, incoherent speech, and a continual state of aimless physical activity.
- apraxia

- Inability to communicate through speech, writing, or signs, caused by dysfunction of brain centers.
