What is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)?
Developmentally inappropriate attentional problems, impulsiveness, motor hyperactivity. Inability to stick with tasks.
Much more boys.
2-5% prevalence in preadolescents.

More likely to develop conduct disorder, deliquency, or drug abuse; do poorly in school; learning disorders. As adults, interpresonal problems, frequent job changes, traffic accidents, marital disruptions, legal infractions.
What is childhood disintegrative disorder?
Onset between 3-5ys. Loss of language, social, motor skills. Very similar to autism. But rarer, and more common in males. Probably due to abnormal development of nervous system.
