- all they wanted was a new beginning and to be americans. they practically built the entire transcontinental railroad but they were still excluded in the Chinese Exclusion Act which forbidded Chinese people from entering the US.

- Indians were sent away or kidnapped and brought to boarding schools that taught Indians the american way of life.

- mixture of a cow and a bull. the ruggedness and durability of a bull and the delicious meat of a cow.

- OK land rush, Battle of Wounded Knee, 1890 census. Gov't states that all that can be explored to the west, has been explored.
- Disaster for Native Americans
- they were kicked out and practically killed off as cowboys, ranchers, miners, and settlers moved west. Soldiers and hunters decimated large herds of buffalo.
