- internationalism
- a national policy of actvely trading with foreign countries to foster peace and prosperity.
- political party
- group of individuals with broad common interests who organize to nominate candidates for office, win elections, conduct gobvernment, and determine public policy.
- flexible response
- the buildup of conventional troops and wapons to allow a nation to fight a limited war without using nuclear weapons.
- sovereignty
- the supreme and asolute authority within territorial boudaries.
- civil society
- a complex network of voluntary associations, economic groups,reliious organizations, and many other kinds of groups that exist independently from the government.

- a person who believes government power , particularly in the economy, should be limited in order to maximize individual freedom.
