- Langston Hughes
- Famous poet from the Harlem Renaissance
- Andrew Mellon
- Believed in running the government as a corporation which entailed cutting the budget and taxes

- Women who were portrayed as young and aggressive who like to dance and drink
- Al Smith
- Ran against Herbert Hoover in the Election of 1928. He was a catholic and did very well in Massachusetts
- "Babe Ruth"
- A famous baseball player who was also a national celebrity
- "Return to Normalcy"
- The country returned to normal such as before the war
- Warren G. Harding
- Won the Election of 1920 and looked like a president, but he didn't even want to be president.
- Sacco and Vanzetti
- These two were convicted of murder and they didn't get a fair trial (biased trial) THEY WERE BOLSHEVIKS
- Herbert Hoover
- Won the Election of 1828 who formed Rugged Individualism
- "Lost Generation"
- Label given to the writers and people who made things after the war

- These acts restricted the number of immigrants that could come to the United States per year

- This term referred to a rebirth which was associated with Langston Hughes
