- Friction
- A force between surfaces that slows objects down or stops them from moving, going in the opposite direction than the motion.
- Gravity
- The force of attraction that exists between any pair of objects
- Newton's Second Law
- Force=Mass x Acceleration
- Fluid Friction
- Friction that occurs as an object moves through a fluid.
- Rolling Friction
- Friction between a rolling object and the surface it rolls o.- much less than static or sliding friction.
- Newton's Third Law
- For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
- Static Friction
- Friction acting on two non-moving surfaces.
- Sliding Friction
- Friction that occurs when one solid surface slides over another
- 9.8m/s/s
- Gravity acceleration
- Newton's First Law
- An object at rest will stay at rest and an object that is in motion will stay in motion unless disturbed by an outside, unbalenced force.
