Friction
A force between surfaces that slows objects down or stops them from moving, going in the opposite direction than the motion.
Gravity
The force of attraction that exists between any pair of objects
Newton's Second Law
Force=Mass x Acceleration
Fluid Friction
Friction that occurs as an object moves through a fluid.
Rolling Friction
Friction between a rolling object and the surface it rolls o.- much less than static or sliding friction.
Newton's Third Law
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Static Friction
Friction acting on two non-moving surfaces.
Sliding Friction
Friction that occurs when one solid surface slides over another
9.8m/s/s
Gravity acceleration
Newton's First Law
An object at rest will stay at rest and an object that is in motion will stay in motion unless disturbed by an outside, unbalenced force.
