- Geometry
- the pure mathematics of points and lines and curves and surfaces
- Imaginary Number
- a number of the form a+bi where a and b are real numbers and i is the square root of -1
- Parallel
- being everywhere equidistant and not intersecting
- Interval Notation
- a way of writing the set of all real numbers between two endpoints. the symbols [and] are used to include an endpoint in an interval, and the symbols (and) are used to exclude endpoint from an interval

- a number that identifies a position relative to an axis

- the expression under the radical sign in the quadratic formula used to determine the number of roots

- States that in a right triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the legs.
- Slope Intercept
- form equation of a line: y = mx + b
- Intersection
- a point where lines intersect
- Sum
- a quantity obtained by addition
- Coefficient
- number in front of a variable
- Ordered Pair
- A pair of numbers that give the location of a point on a grid.

- All sides are the same

- x=(-b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a

- a point equidistant from the ends of a line or the extremities of a figure
