6-Easybridge What do you need to overcall?: 8-16 HCP (8-bad18 per D.A.)and a good 5 card suit. If overcalling on 2 level you need an opening hand and a good 5 card suit.
7-Easybridge Define a take out double?: This double is made at your first opportunity, your partner has not yet bid. 12+ points, singleton or void in
opponents suit. At least 3 cards (better 4) in unbid suits especially a major.
8-Easybridge Your partner makes an overcall, with 3 card support and 11 points what do you do?: que bid. There may be a game here but you need to know if opener has full opening values. This shows a limit raise.
9-Easybridge S: 6 H: KQ109765 D:A76 C:65 You are decarer. whats your bid?: Pass you are too strong to pre-empt if partner has not yet passed. Also don't pre-empt with an outside A.Pts s/b in oc suit.
10-Easybridge S: AJ8765 H:653 D:76 C:2 You are declarer. What is your bid?: Pass. The spade suit is too weak. Five points but no spot cards.
11-Easybridge 1S (P) 2H (P) How many hearts are promised?: 5. When you go to the two level you must have 5 of a major (only four of a minor).
SA:11 points, 2/1: an opening hand.
12-Easybridge When responder bids spades and then hearts, how many spades does she have?: She has at least 5 spades and 10 points. (You would have bid hearts first with 4 and 4)You must have 10 points to bid a second suit.
13-Easybridge When should you double 4 of a minor?: Rarely. When they are going down 4 and have no place to hide. Normally a score of 100vs.50 won't beat the part score 140 your side could make.
14-Easybridge When the opener jumps in their first bid suit, what does it mean?: They have medium points 16-18 and they have 6 in their suit.
15-Easybridge 1c 1d 1s 2NT What does 2Nt mean?: Responder has 11+ points and a heart stopper. Invites no trump game.
16-Easybridge When should I balance?: When they stop at the two level and you are the final pass.

21-Easybridge What do you lead against a part score?: Trump.
22-Easybridge Partner leads 2, decarer plays K from K103 dummy, what card do you play Q94?: Play the 9 to show the Q?
23-Easybridge Partner leads 2, decarer plays from 543 dummy, what card do you play J109?: Play the 9 when decarer plays AK or Q partner will "know" you have the J and 10. As decarer play the highest of touching cards.
24-Easybridge Partner leads 2 what to you play from AK3?: Play the K, when it wins partner will "know" you have the A.
25-Easybridge Partner leads 2 what to you play from AK?: Play out of order. Play the A first follow by the K showing a dblton.
27-Easybridge When partner plays the K then the A showing a dblton what should partner do?: Play a low card to show the lower (non trump) suit, play a high card to show the higher suit for continuation.
27-Easybridge What is standard attitude signaling?: When partner is on opening lead, play a 6 spot or higher to encourage, play 5 spot or lower to discourage.
