- in Night and Anne Frank, te characters grow or change. in Anne Frank, Anne goes from being an inmature child, to being a young mature adult. she changes the way she acts, and how she now has to take responsibility for herself. in Night, Eliezer changes from being a young boy who beleived in g-d to a holocaust survivor who had no faith in g-d. when he was in the concentration camp he had to toughen up and defend himself. he learned how to stand up for what he beleives.

- inthe beggining it was hope, but at the end it was evil, darkness and misfortunes

- The medicine bag
- this story is about an indian grandfather who goes to visit his grandson because he has a bag that passes on from generation to generation. now it is time to give it to his grandson, but his grandson doeasnt want to accept it because he is scaed that his friends will make fun of him. in the end he accepts the bag.

- symbolizes evil, because it was always at night for the jews in the concentration camps because they would only see bad things done to them

- to preserve himself, eliezer must not give up. he must ot let the nazi's feel like there is no hope. he also has to to eat all of his portions of food because if not he will starve. and most importantly, he must follow directiond given by the nazi's, if not he will automatically be killed.
