- Menu bar
- row of words across top pf the screen that "pull down' to revel other commands.
- Font (typeface)
- the design or appearance of the text
- Cell
- a box or other unit on a spreadsheet or similar array at the intersection of a column and a row.
- Bold
- a way of formatting text to make it thicker and darker
- Font
- a specific size and style of type within a type of family.
- Copy
- makes a copy of the text/object and places it on the clipboard
- Default setting
- the way your computer or programs were set up - ex. Margins are default set to 1 inch.
- Insertion Point
- blinking vertical line that shows were your text or object will be inserted.
- Cut
- to remove or take out a section of text or graphic
- Ergonomic keyboards
- keyboards that are shaped differently to help prevent strain
- Minimize
- to reduce the size of a spreadsheet or blank document.
- Indent
- to set ( the first line of a paragraph, for example) in from the margin.
- Column
- groups of cells labeled with letters

- the size of the text measured in points
- Dot leader
- a period used to separate strings of words
- Paste
- to cover a blank area within a document with a graphic , picture or set of data.
- Mouse
- an input device that is used for pointing or drawing.

- key used to erase words, numbers, symbols from left of the cursor

- a block of information stored on a disk or similar media
- Justification
- an alignment option in which words are spaced so that the end of lines are even with both the left and right maragin.
- Italic
- a way of formatting text that makes it slant to the right .text style

- enlarges window to full screen size
- Keyboard
- A set of keys as on a computer terminal, word processor or type writer.
- File managment
- the process of organizing files into folders
- Input Device
- a piece of hardware that allows you to input data into the central processing unit of a computer system.

- a picture that represents various types of applications and files.
