- A measure of the extra positive or negativce particles that an object has.
- Charge
- The charge that stays on an object.
- Static Electricity
- The push or pull between objects with different charges.
- Electric Force
- The action two objects with opposite charges will have.
- Attract
- The action two objects with like charges will have.
- Repel
- The space where electric forces occur around an object.
- Electric Field
- The flow of electric charges.
- Electric Current
- A path that is made for an electric current.
- Circuit
- This supplies energy to move charges through a circuit.
- Electric Cell
- A material that current can pass through easily.
- Conductor
- A material that current cannot pass through easily.
- Insulator
- A material that resists, but doesn't stop the flow of current.
- Resistor
- A circuit that has only one path for the current.
- Series Circuit
- A circuit that has more than one path for current to travel.
- Parallel Circuit
- An object that attracts certain materials, usually made of iron or steel.
- Magnet
- The two different ends of a magnet.
- Magnetic Poles
- The space all around a magnet where the force of the magnet can act.
- Magnetic field
- An arrangement of wire that has a magnetic field only when there is an electric current in the wire.
