- (v) to speak outloud; I recited my speech with ease. I had practiced all week.
- scowl
- (v) to look with anger or disapprovel; I scowled at my father when he refused to change the channel.
- disturb
- (v) to trouble or make uneasy; The protesters disturbed the meeting. They were yelling too loudly.
- patient
- (adj) exepting pain or hardship; I was patient while my mother looked for her keys, event though we were running late.
- buldge
- (v) to swell or extend beyond normal point; His eyes buldged when he saw the present.
- fantastic
- (adj) made without intent of reality. Fiction; The story was about a fantastic world. All the people had tails!
- hoarse
- (adj) harse and dry in sound; Her voice was hoarse from cheering all day. It was hard to understand what she was saying.
- complaint
- (n) an expression of distain or pain; She had a complaint about the noise coming from downstairs, but didnt know who to tell.
