- suicide
- the deliberate taking of ones own life
- negligent homicide
- causing death through negligent behavior
- Criminal Homicide
- the killing of another person intentionally and with malice
- shoplifting
- a form of lerceny in which items are taken from a store without paying or intention to pay.
- negligence
- the failure to excercise a reasonable amount of care in either doing or not doing something, resulting in harm or injury
- Forcible rape
- when someone forces another person to have sexual intercourse
- burglary
- breaking and entering a building with intention of committing a felony
- Homicide
- the killing of another person. Homicide can be crimnal, non criminal, or negligent.
- extortion
- taking property illegally by force or threats of harm
- battery
- any intentional, unlawful physical contact inflicted to one person by another without consent
- robbery
- the unlawful taking of property form a person's immediate possession by force or threat of force
- Malice
- ill will; deliberate intent to harm someone
- embezzlement
- the taking of money or property by a person who has been entrusted with it, for example a bank teller or a company accountant
- larceny
- the unlawful tsking of another's property with the intent to steal.
- stalking
- the act of following or harrassing another person, causing him or her to fear death or injury
- assault
- an international threat, show of force, or movement that causes a reasonable fear of, or an actual physical contact with another person. Can be a crime or a tort.
- felony murder
- the killing of someone during the commission of certain other dangerous felonies, regardless of intent to kill
- Arson
- the deliberate and malicious burning ofm property
- concealment
- the act of either hiding either knowledge or objects
- statutory rape
- sexual intercourse with a minor
- voluntary manslaughter
- intentional but not premeditated, resulting from the heat of passion or the diminished mental capacity of a killer
- Date rape
- sexual assault by someone known by the victim, such as a date or neighbor
- second degree murder
- does not require malice or premeditation but is the result of a desire to inflict bodily harm
- involuntary manslaughter
- when intentional but done during an unlawful act of a lesser nature
- Vandalism
- the deliberate defacement or destruction of property
- first degree murder
- murder planned in advance and done with malice or during the commission of a dangerous felony.
