Sharia Laws
These are the Islamic laws. They are divided into two main areas pertaining to worship and human interactions/relationships. According to these laws one can be married as young as 9yrs old.
Religious Fundamentalism
Large portions of the globe that all connect back with their religions. For example, Catholic Fundamentalism. "The Picture is always changing, but the views stays the same" due to globalizations. Fundamentalists are usually very literal. The term fundamentalist has come to epitomise strong adherence to a set of beliefs in the face of criticism or unpopularity.
Social Control over global corps and Bretton Woods

Blowback
U.S. gave arms and money and training to al Qaeda/ Afghans/ Taliban's to fight the communist back in the late 1970's. We were helping them fight our enemy and today they have turned and used them against us (9/11)
WHO (World Health Organization)
The General Director of the WHO is Margaret Chan. The WHO's major task is to combat disease, especially key infectious diseases, and to promote the general health of the people of the world. The organization has programs to help treat and prevent pandemics such as AIDS, Avian Flu, SARS and many others. They also plan for the future and try to find ways at preventing global warming and finding solutions for future generations.
G-8
It is a government of 8 countries. They include US, Canada, Soviet Union, Russian Republic, Germany, Japan, China, Britain, France. These "Great Eight" important nations get together 'behind closed doors and make some of the more important political and economical decisions in a private manner.
European Unions
These take down the borders between countries/cities. They allow Europe to be their own country. There is an increased value of the Euro and decreased value of the US dollar. Basically by having these unions people are free to move across borders they do not need passports etc. It makes a universal currency for all of Europe unlike in North America where Canada, U.S and Mexico all have their own forms of currency and language etc. The unions "unify".
Ecological Debt
It is an imbalance between one's "fair share" of natural resources and one's actual usage of those resources. If you take more than your fair share of the earth's finite natural resources you run up an ecological debt. First world countries (U.S.) have become very rich by burning up our finite inheritance of fossil fuels which triggered climate change. Less developed countries suffer from the global warming that is caused
Pandemic
A disease, virus or condition that is spread easily and quickly and is contagious or infectious and when left untreated is deadly. An example of a pandemic is AIDS. AIDS is transmitted through bodily fluids in HIV+ persons to others. There are no known cures only treatments that alleviate the symptoms of the killing off of the immune system.
G.D.P (Gross Domestic Product)
"Full total value of goods and services produced in a nationin a year" The GDP of a country is defined as the total market value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given period of time (usually a calendar year
Common Values
All around the world humans of all races, gender, sexuality etc all have 'common values'. Some examples of these values are love, compassion, family life, human rights, and democracy, welfare of future generations, and most importantly overall comfort and happiness physically and emotionally.
Externality costs
Costs that are not figured into the price of a product but that are nevertheless eventually paid by the consumer when using, creating, or disposing of a product.
