- the three main layers of the earth
- the crust, the mantle and the core
- seismic
- when earthquakes occur they produce these types of waves
- pressure
- force per area
- crust
- A layer of solid rock that includes both dry land and ocean floor
- Continental crust
- the region of the earth that mainly consist of granite
- mantle
- A layer of hot rock made up of rock that is very hot but solid
- lithosphere

- outer core
- A molten layer that surrounds the inner core
- The inner core
- A solid layer of the of earth in which extreme pressure squeezes atoms of iron and nickel so much so that they cannot speared and become liquid
- Collision Theory
