Gametes
sex cells
Fertilization

Recessive Trait
The trait which is masked by the dominant gene

The gene combination that an organism contains
phenotype
The way in which an organism looks and behaves
homozygous pair
both alleles are the same in the gene pair
heterozygous pair
two alleles differ from each other
Law of Segregation
During meiosis, gametes genes are seperated, then they ramdomly pair during fertilization
Law of Independent Assortment
Genes for different traits are inherited indepdently of each other
