- Ostension
- The showing of the sacrament on the altar in order that it may receive the adoration of the communicants.
- Liminality
- the transitional period or phase of a rite of passage, during which the participant lacks social status or rank, remains anonymous, shows obedience and humility, and follows prescribed forms of conduct, dress, etc.
- Exorcism
- ritual act of driving out evil demons or spirits from places, persons, or things in which they are thought to dwell.
- Deliverance
- a thought or judgment expressed; a formal or authoritative pronouncement
