refers to transportation and communication. Transportation is the movvement of people and goods from and place to another, communications is the movement or the process by which people exchange information
Latitude
is the distance North or South of the equator

The high lines latitdes
are located between 60 and 90 degrees latitude, in both Northern and southern hemisphere. The polar regins are icy, cold, areas around the North and South poles.
Rotation
refers to the spinning of a body, such as the earth, about its axis

is an area with commom natural features.

measure the distance North or South of the equator

explains how people live in a place. It explains how they change their enviroment. for example, people build bridges, houses, and roads. Human/enviroment interaction also explains how people adapt to their environment. for example, in places along the ocean, people may fish for a living. In cold places, people wear more warm clothing.

is the vast body of salt water that covers nearly three fourths of earth

is the way people live. culture includes peoples' ideas, beliefs, language, values, knowledge, custons, and ways they make things.

is a crisscross network of meridian and Parallell on a map or globe which allows someone to locate any place exactly on the earths surface
Prime Meridian
is an imaginary line running from the North Pole to the South Pole through Greenwich, England. The Prime Meridian is at zero degrees longitude. It is the baseline for measuring longitude.The Prime Meridian divides Earth into the Eastern and Western Hemispheres
International Date Line
is an imaginary line of longitude generally 180° (degrees) east or west of the Prime Meridian. The International Date Line is where each new day begins.

are names given to an identification of the shoreline of an ocean or a large body of salt water

refers to the motion of Earth around the sun. It takes Earth about 365 days to make one revolution around the sun.

is a round model of the earth.
Middle latitudes
are the areas between 30 and 60 degrees latitude in both hemispheres. In this region the climate undergoes the greatest seasonal changes in temperature and moisture.
rural
describes a countryside used chiefly for agriculture, either now or in the recent past
Seasons
are periods of the year that are distinguished by special climate conditions. Summer, fall, winter, spring. Seasons in the Northern Hemisphere are opposite of those in the Southern Hemisphere

are the points of a compass that fall in between the four cardinal points.

are those things in and around a place that were made, built, or brought there by peole
