- Thumbnail
- Miniature version of graphic image. In PowerPoint, a miniature version of a slide is often referred to as a "Thumbnail."
- Slide Transition
- Visual effect that you can apply to enhance the way the screen changes during a slide show as you move from one slide to another.
- Animation Scheme
- A scheme is a polished sequence of effects that you can apply to several slides or your whole show.
- Annotation Pen
- pointer that you can use to "draw" on the screen during a slide show presentation
- Power Point
- the most widley used presentation graphics software program.
- Animation
- Effects that give motion to text, pictures, and they help you steer audience focus, emphasize important points, transition between slides, and maximize side space by moving things on and off.
- Outline and Slides pane
- area that can display either an outline of the presentation's text or thumbnails of the presentation's text. You choose either outline of slides by clicking the appropriate tab.
- Motion Path
- A scheme that traces a pattern for an object to follow
- Presentation Graphics Software
- Application software used to create and edit presentation graphics for electronic/online slide shows, meetings and web pages. Allows users to create visual presentations to convey information more easily to others.
- Design template
- Custom design that you apply to a presentation to give it a uniform color scheme and a particular look.
