- Alpine glacier
- (valley glacier)-a stream of ice bound by precipitous rock walls which flows downvalley from a snow accumulation point near its head.

- A large bowl-shaped depression surrounded by rock wall on 3 sides. Associated w/ alpine glaciers. Area of snow accumulation and ice formation.

- Asymmetrical hills made of till-the steep side faces direction from which glacier advanced. The gentle slope side points to direction the ice is going
- End moraine
- ridge of till formed at the terminus of a glacier.
- Eskers
- ridges made of sand and gravel deposited by meltwater from still glaciers.
