Qualitative and Quantitative Data
Qualitative: data that you your your five senses

Quantitative: data that has numbers(data chart)
Independent and Dependent Variable
Independent: the variable that affects the outcome of the experiment

Dependent: the variable that results from changes in the independent
Control and Constant and Experimental Group
Control: the standard against which results are compared

Constant: things that stay the same

Experimental Group: group thats gets tested on
Hypothesis
the explanation for a question or a problem that can be formally tested
Theory
the explanation of a natural phenomenon supported by a large body of scientific evidence obtained from many different investigations and observations
Cell Theory
1- all organisms are composed of one or more cells

2- the cell is the basic unit of structure and organizations of organisms

3- all cells come from preexisting cells

ionic: a bond when molecules gain or lose electrons
