- The President must notify Congress of troops deployment within 48 hours. He must bring them back after 60 days unless Congress approves of the war

- North Atlantic Treaty Organization; a mutual defense treaty between the US, Canada, and the nations of Europe

- North American Free Trade Agreement; a deal which will eventually eliminate all barriers to trade between US, Canada, and Mexico

- World Trade Organization; oversees trade among nations

- Environmental Protection Agency; protects the environment

- Federal Communications Commision; makes broadcasting rules for the nation's TV and radio stations
