- Notebook laptop computer

- any electronic handheld device that functions as a moble phone as well as a personal digital assistant PDA or other information appliance.

- largest and fastest computers capable of storing and processing tremendous volumes of data.

- information entered into the computer to be processed that consists of text, numbers,sounds,and images.

- connects one computer to other computers and peripheral devices.

- Internet
- the largest network used as a communication tool
- Software
- Intangible set of instructions that tell the computer what to do.
- Mainfram computers
- Large powerful comkputers that are used for centralized storage processing and management of very larg amounts of data.
- an elctronic message sent from one person's computer to another person's computer where it is stored until read by the receiving person.
- Microcomputer
- sometimes called a personal computer; used at home or at the office by one person can fit on top or under a desk.
- Personal Digital Assistant
- also called a palm top computer a smaller portable type of computer.
- Information appliance
- a device that focuses on handling a particular type of informatio and related tasks. Typical devices could be an ipod or mp3 player a handheld gaming console and so on.
