- I would bring clothes for hot and cold weather, builders to build shelter, a doctor, a native speaker, and pack A LOT of food because I wouldnt know what there would be to eat

- When you fource change it can make war because people could be afraid of change

- Emperor/ruler of 5 tribes, 12 villages, and 9,000 subjects, his land stretched between Washington DC and northern North Carolina

- Cousin of Queen Elizabeth, got throne of UK of Scotland and England because QE was unmarried and childless, kept Spanish from invading by making deal ( Eng. wouldnt attack Spanish ships if would leave colony alone)

- I would expect to find new animals, meet new people, and experience harsh weather

- 3rd president of Jamestown (a great one), helped Jamestown by trading with the Powhatans for food, strict but hardworking, not liked by many

- Powhatans daughter, liked John Smith a lot, visited Jamestown frequently, curious, smart, plauful, saved John Smith's life twice, and was a big contributor to Jamestown's survival

- The winter of 1609-1610, more than half of population of settlers died from starvation when indians used stockade that was built buy the English for enslaving the colonists with no food

- There may have been disagrements as to where they were colonizing (their location) and who would rule

- A feaver germ brought over from Engalnd that killed many in Jamestown
