Environment deserves direct moral consideration. Humans not master of nature but rather belong to it. Make decisions that benefit humans and animals.
Developmental Ethic
Assumes human race is, and should e, masters of nature
Preservation Ethic
preserve nature for future generations and work toward a balance of resources use and availability
