- Animals that hunt other animals.
- Predator
- The most common plant in the pond.
- Algae
- Damage to the earth caused by humans.
- Pollution
- Animals that have a backbone and a skeletal system.
- Vertebrate
- Animals that do not have a backbone or skeleton.
- Invertebrate
- An animal that eats plants.
- Herbivore
- Animals that eat other animals (meat).
- Carnivore
- The line that shows how much acid or base is in something.
- pH Scale
- Water that is dirty and old....not fresh water.
- Stagnant
- The thing you change in a science experiment. You should only change one of these at a time.
- Variable
- The thing you do not change in an experiment.
- Control
- The steps a scientist follows when doing an experiment.
- Scientific Method
- The problem or question you try to answer by doing a science experiment.
- Hypothesis
- The information you collect when you do an experiment.
- Data
- An animal that eats plants or animals. These animals eat almost anything.
- Omnivore
- Animals that are hunted by other animals
- Prey
