- Tolerance
- Accepts others differences and allowing them to be who they are.
- Detoxification
- A process in which the body adjusts to functioning without alcohol.
- Cirrhosis
- liver tissue is replaced with useless scar tissus, the disease can lead to liver failure and death unless a liver transplant is performed.
- Drug
- A chemical that causes changes in a person's BODY or behavior (ex. asprin, alcohol)
- Alcohol
- Is a deep ressant (slows the body's activity) of the CNS (centeral nervous system)
- Dependance
- when the body develops resistance to a drug.then the body feels it needs that chemical
- Intoxification
- negative effects that alcohol has on the drinker's body and behavior
