A device that regulates temperature
Kelvin Scale
The temperatures on which 0 is the temperatures at which no more energy can be removed from matter

A device that converts thermal energy into mechanical energy

The change from the liquid to the gaseous form of matter

The temperature scale on which 32 and 212 are the temperatures at with water freezes and boils
Celsius Scale
The temperature scale on which 0 and 100 are the temperatures at with water freezes and boils

The temperature at which a liquid substance boils
Freezing Point
The temperature at which a substance freezes
