- statutory rape
- the act of unlawful sex w/someone under the age of consent, even if that person is a willing/voluntary participant in the act.
- suicide
- the deliberate taking of ones own life
- date rape
- sexual assault by someone known to the victim such as a date/neighbor
- non criminal homicide
- killing w/o intent

- the killing of another person. Can be criminal, noncriminal, or negligent
- felony murder
- the killing of someone during the commision of certain other dangerous felonies, regardless of intent to kill.
- negligence
- the failure to excercise a resonable amount of care in either doing or not doing something, resulting in harm or injury.
- battery
- any intentional, unlawful physical on one person by another without consent.
- forcible rape
- unlawful sexual intercourse, committed when one party forces another into sex.
- 1st degree murder
- planned in advance and done with malice or during the commision of a dangerous felony.
- 2cd degree murder
- does not require malice or premeditation but is the result of a desire to inflict bodily harm.
- negligent homicide
- causing death through negligent behavior.
- assault
- an intentional threat, show of force, or movement that causes a resonable fear of,or an actual physical contact w/ another person. Can be a crime or a tort.
- involuntary manslaughter
- when unintentional but done during an unlawful act of a lesser nature.
- voluntary manslaughter
- intentional but not premeditated, resulting from the heat of passion or the diminished mental capacity of the killer.
- stalking
- the act of following or harrasing another person, causing him/her to fear death or injury.
- malice
- ill will;deliberate intent to harm someone.
