- the state in which the individual experiences disruptions in the tissue layers of the oral cavity

- the sensation of moving around in space or of having objects about the person - may be described as "dizziness" by the client

- a diet for persons unable to tolerate solid food or for patients whose GI tract must be free of solid matter

- dementia
- excretion of waste products by the skin, kidneys, lungs, and intestines
- elimination
- the state in which an individual has decreased ability to voluntarily pass fluids and/or solids from the mouth to the stomach
- impaired swallowing
- a circumscribed area of pathologically altered tissue - a single infected patch in a skin disease
- lesion
- pressure occurring within the eyeball
- intraocular pressure
- small superficial elevation of the skin or mucous membrane which is filed with clear liquid
- vesicle
- the process by which food is broken down mechanically and chemically in the g.i. tract and converted into absorbable forms
- digestion
- fibrosis of connective tissue in skin; fascia, muscle, or a joint capsule that prevents normal mobility of the related tissue of joint
- contracture
- a subjective ringing, buzzing, tinkling, or hissing sound in the ear
- tinnitis
- blood pressure lowering when and erect position is assumed
- postural hypotension or orthostatic hypotension
- loss of self control, especially of urine, feces or semen
- incontinence
- the triangular bone situated dorsal and caudal from the two ilia between the 5th lumbar vertebra and coxyx

- impairment of speech resulting from a brain lesion or neurodevelopmental disorder
- dysphasia
- transient elevation of the skin (ex. allergic reaction) also known as hives
- wheal
- heaped up hardened layers of dead epidermis (ex: dandruff)
- scales
- covering formed from serum, blood or pus drying on the skin
- crusts
- intestinal uptake of food or other substance from the digestive tract
- absorption
- the death of areas of tissue or bone surrounded by healthy tissue
- necrosis
- a death of tissue or bone usually resulting from deficient or absent blood supply
- Gangrene
- failure to fain pink after doig blanch test
- nonblanchable
- a >1cm area of non-elevated discoloration of the skin of various shapes and colors which cannot be palpated
- patch
- inability to perform purposive movements although there is no sensory or motor impairment
- apraxia
- the state in which an individual has an intake of nutrients which exceeds metabolic needs
- altered nutrition - more than body requirements
- a state in which an infant demonstrates an impaired ability to suck or coordinate the suck-swallow response
