What is a chelonian?
a species w. shells

Terrapins: fresh water, carnivorous
Tortoise: land, herbivorous/omnivorous
Turtle: marine
Describe more about chelonians?
(1). they hibernate
(2). can be hard/dangerous to hold
(3). males have londer tails, ect.
(4). Almost all problems are nutrition related.
What is a difference betwen Amphibians and reptiles?
Reproduction specifics vary widely between species
What is almost always required for lizards?
Diet supplementation
What causes lizards to change colors?
Clumps of pigment in the dermis of the skin.
CAN BE INTENTIONAL OR ILLNESS
Describe Autonomy and the dangers of it.
(1) ability to drop tail when chased or scared
(2) vet must know tail will grow back
(3) can lead to infection or/and malformation
(4) typically doesn't grow back as strong.
