- a verb that can show doing- IAV/ TAV

- the noun or pronoun following the linking verb that is the equivalent of a subject.
- subject complement
- information about the subject that follows the linking verb.

- a verb or verb phrase that shows a state of being or condition

- an adjective following the linking verb that modifys the subject
- action verb
