Brown v. Board of Education
in this case, girl's father claimed "separate but equal" not equal or constitutional because she had to cross town to an unequal school. Supreme Court agreed, and no longer claimed "separate but equal" constitutional.
Worcester v. Georgia
in this case, the court ruled that Georgia had no authority in the Cherokee land. president jackson dissagreed, and made the Cherokees move to the Indian Territory anyway
Gideon v. Wainwright
in this case, the Supreme Court ruled that anyone who is too poor to hire an attorney must be assigned one by the court
