- what does the endoderm develop?
- lining of GI tract from pharynx to rectum; epithelium of trachea; bronchi, lungs, liver, pancreas, urinary bladder
- what does the ectoderm develop?
- mucous membrane, tooth enamel, hair, nails, mammory glands, nervous system; neural tube formation
- what does the mesoderm develop?
- heart, blood vessels, spleen, blood and lymph cells, bones, muscles; umbilical vessels pass through the connecting structure to the placenta
