What is a haploid cell?
A cell with one set of DNA in the nucleus.
What is a cotyledon?
The part of the embryo that helps to feed it.
Stem
The above-ground portion of a plant with buds. Must have lentices.

A single, haploid cell that is made by meiosis in plants.
What is a sporophyte?
Multicellular plant made of diploid cells and creates spores

Loosely arranged (torn) epidermal cells that help gas diffusion into the stem.
