- Is the flow that transfer heat within a fluid.

- The layer of rock that includes both dry land and the ocean floor.

- This layer is made up of rock that is very hot but it is still solid.

- The idea that the continents slowly moved over Earth's surface.

- A layer of molten metal that surrounds the inner core. This layer is liquid.
- Granite
- A light color rock (usually) and has a coarse texture.
- asthenosphere
- This layer is soft, and it is like road tar softened by the heat of the sun. It is slightly bendy.
- Density
- A measure of how much mass there is in a volume of a substance.

- The place where two plates come together. (or converge)

- The device that bounces off underwater objects.

- These valleys form along the divergent boundary.

- The process which the ocean sinks into the deep ocean trench and back into the mantle, like a conveyor belt.

- A force pressing down on an area.
