The Soviet ruler after Stalin who supported de-Stalinazation. He freed many political prisoners, eased censorship, and was responsible for the Cuban missile crisis.

The learned Shiite who was against western influence and was responsible for the Islamic Revolution. He set a theocracy based on the Quran and Sharia.

The president of Russia after the USSR broke up. He resigned in 1999 when he was unable to contain the Muslims in a revolt in Chechnya.

Cuban socialist leader who overthrew a dictator in 1959 and established a Marxist socialist state in Cuba. During the Cuban Missie Crisis, he turned to the Soviet Union for help.
Mao Zedong
The communist leader in China who defeated Jiang Jieshi after World War II. He is responsible for creating China in to a totalitarian state.
