- Columns
- identified by letters that run horizontally
- Menu Bar
- Contains the drop-down menu commands.
- Standard Toolbar and Formatting Toolbar
- Provides easy access to frequently used commands.
- Active cell
- Highlighted with a thick border, it stores informations that is keyed in the cell
- Rows
- Indentified by numbers that run vertically
- Formula Bar
- Displays the contents of the active cell and is used to create or edit text is values.
- Cell reference box
- Identifies the active cell by the letter of the column and the number of the row that it intersects.
- Title bar
- Displays the Applications and Current Worksheet name.
- Columns
- They run vertically in a worksheet. Heading (letters from A to Z) runnign left to right across
- Scroll bars
- used to move horizontally or vertically within a worksheet
- Rows
- They run horizontally in a worksheet. Heading (a number) runs up and down the left side.
- Cells
- A worksheet contains cells where information is keyed. The cells are arranged in rows and columns.
- Status bar
- indicates variuos items of informations such as SCROLL LOCK, NUM LOCK, OR CAPS LOCK when active
- Worksheet tabs
- Indentify the active worksheets in the workbook
