- Country that was racing against Spain for the fastest way to India.

- Government officials that relayed information to the monarchy.

- Upper class citizens that were born in Europe.

- Military dictators that ruled countries causing instability.

- Sons and daughters of Peninsulares but were not born in Europe. Born in the Americas
