- 13. abolition of slavery
- neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime where of the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist withing the U.S., or any place subject to their jurisdiction. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.g
- 6. rights to trail by jury in criminal
- informed of the crime you are being charged with. to have witnesses testify for you and against you. to a lawyer. to a speedy, fair public trail.
- 3. Quartering of Soldiers
- no soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
- 25. presidential disability and succession
- In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress. Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, and until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such powers and duties shall be discharged by the Vice President as Acting President. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

- any cases that are not criminal, divorce, property, or lawsuit. cases must involve at lest $ 20 in value

- to condense the time between the president's and vice- president's election and induction, and to End "lame- Duck" sessions of congress.

- No law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.

- due precess rights- a process by which the states and national government must treat accused persons fairly according to rules established by laws. equal protection rights- states and te national government can't treat groups differently unless there is an overriding reason, guarantees equal protection under the law.

- a person can't be forced to testify against them self. double jeopardy- you can't be tried twice for some crime once you have been proved innocent. government can't take private property for public use unless it has been paid a fair price
- 2. Right to bear arms
- a well regulated malitioa, being necessary to hte security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bare arms, shall not be infringed.
- 8. bails,fines, and punishment
- an accused person may pay bail; no bail will be set unusually high. no cruel or unusual punishment
