12.Shelly Workman - Pledge Poem
- I am your flower the daisy, and here in the middle of my petals I stand proud to begin a new life. All of you my sisters are symbolized by my petals, and without you, I am nothing.
- Pledge Vow
-
I pledge loyalty, understanding, and sisterhood to the actives and pledges of Phi Epsilon Alpha.
To work for the standards and goals set by my sisters.
To keep secret all that is passed on to me, through rituals and by the actives, from this day forward as long as I shall live. - Pledge Creed
-
I realize that the beauty of a pledge is in her potentiality.
That the glory of an active is in her experience.
That our active sisters endeavor by their knowledge to give pledges insight.
I believe in experience for I know that knowledge is the guide for an easier path.
I believe in respect, for I know that one who trusts when following will be confident when leading is in order.
I believe in scholarship, for I know that the finding of wisdom and the gaining of understanding builds strength. - Pledge Song
-
This moment is just the beginning of something that we'll always share. Growing each day by going our way, yet knowing that we're here to care. We'll give you our love and our friendship; we ask that you give us the same. To be loyal and true in whatever you do to the Phi Epsilon Alpha name.
Chorus:
We'll give you a daisy a day dear; we'll give you a daisy a day. We'll love you until the rivers run still and the four winds shall all blow away.
We'll give you a daisy a day dear; we'll give you a daisy a day. Sisters until the rivers run still and the four winds shall all blow away. - Crest
